Alright, I promised another post about what's to come in the future with my post that explained a bit about crafting/carving, so now that
crafting and carving are pretty much set as far as bugs go and I've gotten some other things done... what's to come?
Near future (next 2 or so weeks):
* Going over the past forum ideas/bug reports, implementing the ideas I like, fixing some bugs
* Adding some additional moderation tools they've so desperately needed
Longer-term, in no particular order with no particular ETAs:
* Gameplay Features
* Global events (exactly what TBD, feel free to make suggestions in the idea subforum!)
* Dungeons (general ideas, nothing set in stone)
- Randomized layouts, probably with a boss that has its own set of random drops [likely including accessories]
- Unique currency(ies) with a dungeon shop [possibly]
- Possibility to group up / have group battles (not guaranteed, but definitely something I want)
* Talent system (several ideas have been thrown around, listed below):
1) Gain talent points on level-up, assign to various trees as you wish, unlocking more abilities as you put more points
into the tree
2) Gain talent points on level-up, place into various skills as you wish
3) List of talents; spend [some currency, not determined what yet] to advance in the talent
* Alchemy system (potion-making)
- Likely somewhat similar to crafting/carving. Would use ingredients.
- Potions would provide temporary buffs to your character.
- The 'personal spellup' in the fame shop would activate several of these buffs on your
character for x minutes and would have a reasonable price.
* Pet system (no real details here, just pets that would help you in battle, either via fighting, providing buffs or both)
* RELIGION SYSTEM? (choose a deity to worship, each deity has its own buff, group-based activity that can give you a buff
once in awhile, sort of like the 1million kills/harvests rewards)
* PvP (totally optional / don't lose anything if you die, probably)
* CvC (no particular details here, other than I'd like a system that relies more on activity than combat stats, etc.)
- Maybe tie in with PvP - the main portion is activity-based, but PvP against opposing clan gives extra bonuses
* Miscellaneous
* Daily Reward System?
- Various rewards you can collect once a day, maybe? Maybe not.
* Better stat tracking, sort of like Kajin's script
* Secure Trading System
