A small suggestion to benefit players like me who have chosen to play as dedicated harvesters. As we don't receive any XP from harvesting attempts towards overall player level is seems a bit unfair to base level bonuses on overall player level rather than the level of the skill that caused the drop.
I've pasted a log of the most recent drops I've received below. This disparity in reward will only grow wider as players get higher and higher in level.
Thanks,
You found a large pile of 179 platinum coins (169 + 10 level bonus)! You found a pouch containing 7 platinum coins! You found a pouch containing 104 gold coins (99 + 5 level bonus)! You found a large pile of 49,053 gold coins (46,277 + 2,776 level bonus)! You found a pouch containing 81 gold coins (77 + 4 level bonus)! You found a pouch containing 85 gold coins (81 + 4 level bonus)! You found a pouch containing 62 gold coins (59 + 3 level bonus)! You found a pouch containing 76 gold coins (72 + 4 level bonus)! You found a pouch containing 65 gold coins (62 + 3 level bonus)!

You can fix this issue by battling once in awhile.

Even battling once in a while people that have chosen to have harvesting as their main method of play will never have a player level that is close to people that have chosen to have battling as their main play style.
There will always be a disparity in player level between the two play styles and a disparity in rewards given.

I think you misunderstand what he's trying to say.
"people that have chosen harvesting as their main method of play" are not a concern. These people are willingly choosing to ignore the main function of the game. That's fine, but special rewards will not be given for people who choose to ignore how the game works. Seriously, fight battles if you want a level bonus.

Seems a bit of a weak response when the game appears to have no upper limit on harvesting levels, has rankings for these, housing and clans require large amounts of materials to progress that require a large of amount of time to be dedicated towards using actions on harvesting.
To ignore the players that choose to meet these needs and dismissing the players themselves as "ignoring how the games works" doesn't really fly.

I'm ignoring my own personal gains for the gains I can get from my clan. I could battle all day if I wanted to and still benefit my clan, I just chose not to play like that. I agree with Vysn and Gandor.

Couple points here: (as another player who tradeskills on occasion)
1. Battling is the main focus of these sorts of games, I have set to meet an admin who feels differently. Level bonus refers to your CHARACTERS level, and there for if you choose not to level that character, then you choose not to raise the bonus. That's just how it's going to work.
2. As a harvester you will gain more income than any battler. Period. Unless you send every single bit of it into your clan/guild/whateveryouwnattocallit. Or your house. Sell some of your resources and you can make up the small level bonuses 100x.
You are NOT really supposed to be able to get *everything* you could possibly want in a game without working for it. Sell your resources and buy what you're not getting enough of. That's what the market is for.

I can't believe I have to keep reiterating this but: HARVESTING IS NOT NOR WILL IT EVER BE THE MAIN FOCUS OF THE GAME! WILLFULLY IGNORING BATTLING IS A CHOICE THAT YOU MAKE! THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES!

And my suggestion is that those consequences should be reconsidered as improvement to the game.

Not sure how it's so crazy to suggest something that would make more than one play style viable and rewarded in a game and how that would negatively on the game in anyway that requires a reaction from that from a member of staff.

It's not a reaction, it's an explanation. The thing you want is not a thing that will exist. You gotta accept it, man.

It's just a tradeoff. Harvesters get certain things faster than battlers and vice versa. This is one of those things.
