I am sure that by now you are all aware of the new update to the fame system, which has affected the market significantly, specifically platinum.
I for one welcome this change, I think it is a good thing that people using multiple accounts are being 'punished?'/discouraged and that the fame system cannot be so easily abused. Furthermore, I appreciate the fact that the game is slowing down in terms of progression (to the pace it seems it was meant to be played out) due to the ending of Quad Frenzy. However, I do see a problem in terms of the gap between the high end and mid/low end players. While larger clans- For example Gandor's 'High Times' have managed to hit a very impressive 16 buildings constructed*- smaller clans are stuck around 4/5 buildings now- wondering how to raise the large amounts of platinum to construct new buildings.
The problem I see in this is not the fact that some clans are ahead of the game, but rather the fact that it has now become even harder for the medium/lower end clans/players to catch up with the top, widening the gap between the two ends. While I also understand that the top end will also require much greater resources for their buildings and more xp etc for their leveling- the fact remains that the ability to catch up to that level- and the time required has greatly increased as a result of this new update.
I am not trying to say that it should be changed back straight away etc, in fact, it may just be easier to allow players to adjust to this new meta, rather than changing up again- especially as people are now getting/have gotten used to the much longer grind post quad frenzy. I think ideas suggested by players to allow alternate forms of production of fame shop items (mainly platinum) have the most merit, and are certainly something I would like to see tested.
Of course- this is just my opinion, might be a completely terrible idea, but I felt as if we should try and get some ideas across, so Vysn can get some useful feedback, and perhaps a few ideas on where to go from this new update.
Thanks for reading,
Seph.
*Please note that I am by no means trying to call out Gandor and his clan mates aha
