So I've tested a few things on my phone and I've noticed that different browsers (at least on android lollypop) have different characterstics. Some of these are unavoidable and are entirely dependent on the app/browser used but here are some things I have found.
Browser (I am not sure what engine this runs off of, probably something similar to chrome. But this is an old, default, dying browser like microsoft IE / Edge) - Sluggish scrolling / sometimes unresponsive. - Stops when screen isn't active. - Stops when app is pushed to background. - Doesn't play any sounds for 5 minute event warning. - Doesn't play any sounds for event starting. - Doesn't play any sounds for stamina running out.
Firefox: - Sluggish scrolling / complete freezing of web page around 390 actions (6 second action timer) - Stops when screen isn't active. - Stops when app is pushed to background. - Plays sound for 5 minute event warning. - Plays sound for event start. - Plays sound for stamina running out.
Chrome: - Very responsive / much faster than "Browser"/ Firefox - Stops when screen isn't active. - Keeps running when app is pushed to background - Doesn't play any sounds for 5 minute event warning. - Doesn't play any sounds for event starting. - Doesn't play any sounds for stamina running out.
As I've said these results are strictly from Android lollypop (version 5.0.1)
Request: It's not really possible to be able to change the way apps work so I won't even bother asking that. But if you could at least get sounds working on chrome as it's probably the most commonly used mobile bwoser app, that'd be great. Or fix all problems by making a mobile app.

Chrome: - Stops when screen isn't active. ------------------------------------ This was HIGHLY annoying of the holidays, as I had no access to my computer. - Keeps running when app is pushed to background ---------------------- Most of the time this is accurate. HOWEVER, there are times that it stops. - Doesn't play any sounds for 5 minute event warning. ----------------- Not necessarily a bad thing, But this is correct - Doesn't play any sounds for event starting. ------------------------- See above. - Doesn't play any sounds for stamina running out. -------------------- See above.
Might be best to just develop an ap for Avabur. You can ad push notifications for events and stamina and the like. Also there would be a way to actually keep running when the screen goes dark.
